Matt R. Hoyle
Originally from Cedar City, Utah, Matthew R. Hoyle began his professional journey after serving on an LDS mission in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He later married Kadee Baldwin at the St. George, Utah Temple. They are proud parents to two sons, Jaydian and Lincoln. Beyond his professional endeavors, Matthew enjoys outdoor activities with his family and passionately supports the Philadelphia Eagles.
His career in the Funeral Service industry commenced in 2006 at Southern Utah Mortuary. Following a relocation to Mesa, Arizona in 2008 for educational pursuits, Matthew furthered his expertise at Bunker Family Funeral Homes, specializing in services such as 24-hour removals, embalming, and cremation arrangements. In 2009, he earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree from Mesa Community College. Subsequently, Matthew returned to Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City before overseeing operations in Beaver and Milford, Utah. Renowned for his exceptional pre-need services, he expanded his reach to Nevada, obtaining licensure for a branch in Caliente.
Between 2017 and 2018, Matthew Hoyle served as the President of the Beaver Valley Chamber of Commerce. Noteworthy among his accomplishments is the development of Beaver County’s mass fatality plan, a crucial initiative he presented at the Utah Southwest Regional meeting.
In 2017, Matt graduated from the Fountain National Academy of Professional Embalming Skills in Springfield, Missouri, where he obtained a certificate for completing 41 hours of Advanced Post Mortem Reconstructive Surgery. He then furthered his expertise by completing an additional 31 hours of Advanced Post Mortem Reconstructive Surgery in 2022. With an extensive background, Matt has performed over 3,800 cremations and 5,600 embalming services as a funeral director.
